About
One person, the whole stack
The web product and the platform it runs on are usually two teams. I've spent twenty-one years being both - writing the application and carrying the pager for the servers underneath it.
Today I work freelance as a System Reliability Engineer: I build the customer-facing product in Svelte, Node.js and React, and run the infrastructure, BGP network and billing automation behind it - previously as co-owner of a hosting company and data-center.
